It was moved by Regent Elliot, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, directing the following Resolution be approved.

"BE IT RESOLVED that The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska, in meeting this date, do respectfully request that The University Foundation make payment to the University Comptroller from "The Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Woods Memorial Fund" in the amount of $8,000.00. Such monies are to be used to supplement the budget of the Department of University Health of the University of Nebraska for the development of a suitable Mental Health Program at The University of Nebraska over a period of six months from January 1, 1958, salaries for I. W. Brill, $6,000.00, and Florence Morris Bader, $2,000.00."

Resolution for use of funds for Chair of Actuarial Science

It was moved by Regent Welsh, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, directing the following Resolution be approved:

"BE IT RESOLVED that The Board of Regents of The University of Nebraska, in meeting this date, do respectfully request that The University Comptroller from "The Chair of Actuarial Science Fund" in the amount of $4,500.00. Such monies are to be used to supplement the budget of The College of Arts and Sciences for the development of acturial science at The University of Nebraska over a period of six months from January 1, 1958, salary for Roberty E. Larson."

It was moved by Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Foote, motion put to vote and carried, dirrecting that the following grants of funds for aid in research studies in various departments of the University as reported by Harold E. Wise, Deputy Research Administrator, report dated
