Prof. C. E. Bessey,

Dear Sir;

In pursuance of studies in Aster and [?] I am desirous to obtain specimens of the species found in Nebraska or thereabouts. I can send in exchange those of the District of Columbia and vicinity; or miscellaneous she specimens if preferred. If you have any specimens at your disposal which you would be willing to use in that way, please give me early information.

Very truly yours Edward S. Burgess
