Dear Sir,
Some time since I saw by the newspaper that there was a fair prospect of having a Veterinary COllege in connection with the State University.
Do you expect that it will be established this year? if so when will the course commense? What will the tuition and other expenses amount to. That is not including board.
Yours truly [W?] H [Wriber?]

Prof Bessey, City, My Dear Sir:–
Could you give the Boys Branch the proposed lecture on Friday evening the 16th as well as on Tuesday the 13th of April as announced. In order to accommodate the [Oratorio?/Ontario?] Society, we changed our regular meeting night to Friday, and if one can conveniently would prefer your lecture on that evening. We shall, though of course accommodate ourselves to your wishes.
Truly Yours, O. J. [Shilcox?] Box 63[?]

Dear Sir:
Would pressed plants (name unknown) from this part of the state (Fairbury Neb.) be of any value to you? If so, what description should accompany them? Would a microscopic examination of the anther and pollen, the pistil and ovaries, be necessary?
As my health makes it necessary for me to spend much of my time out of doors. I thought I would collect plants during

the spring and summer, provided that could be made of use to me or any other person. My experience in pressing has been limited to a springe work under the direction of Prof. Grant of The State Normal, and a little work upon the summer flowers here.
If you would like to have collections from this place, please to let me know; also, tell how you wish them sent – whether mounted on white paper or simply packed so as not to break in shipping.
I wish to make arrangements early so that I may go to work as soon as the flowers open.
Yours sincerely, Olive Wilc[r?]en. Fairbury, Neb.

Professor Bessey Lincoln Nebraska Dear Sir:
We have a peculiar horse disease here which we are investigating. Some claim it is in the water of our wells. Can you analyze some of the water if sent to you?
Also can you give me any information of the "Rattle box" and its relation to the [loes?] plant of the coast. Also of its poisonous properties if it has any.
Yours Truly G. W. Wilkinson.
