Dear Brother:

Your letter to Mother is before me and in reply I will say [?] me have not invested [?] 1000 of mother money. It is very difficult to [?] money [?] fore more than [0?]%. and a few have [?] large sums [?] long time of 4 3/4 %.

It will be a great advantage to mother if you can dispose of it for her. It is in the [?] Treasury and can be had at any time. She can [?] you have [?] in short notice.

I have been visiting here for the past ten days and have had a very [?] time.

[?] and family are in excellent health. She has a very fine and smash baby.

This is a very fine season for sugar making and you may be sure I have enjoyed it.

I go home on Saturday. I am as [?] [?] to employment this season. With regards to all I am your off. brother.
