Frankforter retained 1 yr.$600. The following resolution was also adopted; Resolved that George B. Frankforter be appointed Assistant in the Chemical Laboratory for the ensuing year at a salary of $600. Recess until 2 o'clock p.m. After recess. Lincoln,Neb.June 16th. 1887. The Board of Regents met at 2 o'clock p.m. pursuit t o adjournment of the morning session. Present Regents L.Burnham,C.H.Gere,J.M.Hiatt E.P.Holmes and Jno. T . Mallalieu. Absent Regent M.J.Hull. The minutes of the last preceeding meeting were read and approved. The Secretary read a communication from Thos. Butterfield relating to the degree witheld from him.
