On motion the following resolution was adopted:
Resolved, that Prof . Bennett be reappointed as Principal of the Latin School for the ensuing year at a salary of $1600.00.

On motion the report and recommendations of the committee were adopted.
Wing.Ad'j Prof.Ag. 2 yrs.
On motion the following resolution was adopted:
Resolved that H.H.Wing be made Adjunct Professor of Agriculture for the ensuing two years at a salary of $1500.00 per annum.
Frankforter retained 1 yr.$600.
The following resolution was also adopted;
Resolved that George B. Frankforter be appointed Assistant in the Chemical Laboratory for the ensuing year at a salary of $600.

The Board of Regents met at 2 o'clock p.m. pursuit t o adjournment of the morning session.
Present Regents L.Burnham,C.H.Gere,J.M.Hiatt E.P.Holmes and Jno. T . Mallalieu.
Absent Regent M.J.Hull.
The minutes of the last preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Secretary read a communication from Thos. Butterfield relating to the degree witheld from him.
The secretary also read a communication from the Faculty relating to Miss Smith Custodian of the Library, which was referred to the University and Library committee.
