The Chancellor now took up the discussion in detail of his report, calling the attention of the Board to the following points :
( A ) that the faculty are prepared to prsent the name of a candidate at once for the instructors in English.
( B ) the necessi ty of filling the chairs of philosophy which should not be deferred beyond June next.
