Dear Dr Bessey:

Your letter came at a time when the librarian had ordered all books in and was taking the inventory. I drew the journal for you at earliest possible minute and mailed it to you. I should have written you this note yesterday but could not find the time. Our year has [?] the [?] have all gone [?] our the Board still remains what [?] as [?] [?] off [?] also [?] [?] seen -- Those agricultural colleges are certainly stranger instructions as you were known.

I have been [?] and oak and [?] of you for some time but have not had the courage to ask any time f you as I know you are
