The Theatre Last Night.

A very fine audience assembled at the Theatre last evening to greet the second appearance of the Buffalo Bill Combination. The performance opened with a sprightly farce, entitled "The Widow's Victim," in which Mlle. Morlacchi appeared, and, as was the case on the first night, was welcomed with enthusiastic applause. The farce was most excellently presented, and the various characters being well sustained, and was heartily enjoyed by the audience.

The entertainment concluded with the exciting five-act drama, entitled "Life on the Border," an elaborate criticism of which was given in yesterday's News. It met with great favor, as was demonstrated by the applause of the house.

This afternoon there will be a matinee at 2 o'clock for the benefit of ladies and children. The above-named drama will be repeated with a comedy or farce, and will make an entertainment which cannot fail to please.

To-night, the last of this excellent company in our city, will be presented and an entirely new programme, including a thrilling border drama, in which Mlle. Morlacchi will appear as "Pale Dove," an Indian princess. Buffalo Bill and Texas Jack and other favorites, are of course in the caste, and a most entertaining evening may be anticipated by those who attend. The combination are among the best that have visited our city, and certainly deserve a big house on their farewell night.
