The "great scout, guide and Indian fighter," Buffalo Bill, will appear at the Opera House this evening in a new drama, whose scenes are laid on the western border, written by Major Burt of the United States army, entitled "May Cody, or Lost and Won." Two Sioux Warriors are to be introduced in the play, and also the Austin brothers, said to be the champion rifle shots of the world. AMUSEMENTS.

The Providence Journal says: -

At the afternoon and evening performances by the Buffalo Bill Combination, yesterday, the audiences were large and enthusiastic, the production of "Buffalo Bill at Bay," in the afternoon, awakening intense interest at times. "May Cody, or Lost and Won," resembles the other drama in many particulars, and was give with considerable skill and effect, Mr. Cody assuming the character of the fearless scout and Indian fighter with the ease and vigor which personal experience has imparted.

The company will play in Music Hall on Friday evening.
