WINDSOR THEATRE-BUFFALO BILL.
This theatre was reopened last evening for the appearance of Buffalo Bill in his drama of "The Knights of the Plains," A large audience assembled and the play produced a sensation. The play abounds in interesting incident, amusing combination of character and exciting tableaus, and "Buffalo Bill" was most enthusiastically applauded. Mr. J. J. Louden as Ralph Royston, played the villain very cleverly, but his hoarseness made his utterances almost inaudible. Messrs. L. R. Willard and Alfred Beverly, and Miss Nellie Jones acquitted themselves in their various roles quite well, as did some others who held minor parts in the play. The shooting match by Buffalo Bill, as a matter of course, gave him ample opportunity of displaying his marvellous control of the rifle.
