Last night the artists, (all Fort Wayneites), who acted in the capacity of "soldiers, peasants, bears, etc.," for the Buffalo Bill party, brought suit against the management for their pay. It seemed that there was a disagreement between the managers and the leader of the Opera house as to which party should bear the expense, and the suit was therefore brought against the troupe. Justice Hoagland was routed out at a late hour and the affair resulted in the payment of the claim by the showman under protest. The costs in the case amounted to some $13, over which Buffalo William was quite indignant. An effort will be made for the restitution of the amount by the lessers of the Opera House.
