The matter was referred to the University and Library committee. The Secretary read the report of professor Bessey as Director of the agricultural experiment station which was received and referred to the committee on course of study. The Board then took a recess until 9 o'clock a.m. tomorrow. After recess. JUN 13 1888 Lincoln,Nebraska(sic) June 13th.1888. Present Regents Burnham,Gere,Hull,Mallalieu(sic) and Roberts. Absent Regent Davis. Recommendations for degrees to be reported. On motion of Regent Hull it was ordered that the Secretary of the Board be instructed to notify the Secretary of the Faculty to report immediately to The Chancellor read his report (in part) and presented recommendations and communications from the Faculty, also the report of the Dean of the Industrial college, report of Lieut.Dudley(sic) and other reports from heads of departments,all(sic) of which were received and referred to the committee on course of study.
