Financial reports of Secretary , Steward,Lieut. Dudley,and Supt. Wing, examined and approved.

Dec 14 1887

The finance committee reported as follows: That they have examined the financial reports of the Secretary, and find the same correct; also that they have examined the financial reports of the Steward of monies received and expenses by him(sic),and find the same correct:

M.J.Hull,J.T.Mallalieu Com't.

On motion the report of the committee was received and adopted.

Communication relating to instruction in Philosophy laid over for future action &c.

The Secretary read a communication from professor Mc.Millan respecting instruction in Philosophy.

Regent Burnham moved that the communication presented lie over,and that the Secretary advise professor Mc.Millan that future action will be taken in reference to the same,no funds being apparently available at the present time. Carried.

The Secretary read a communication from the Faculty relating to an appropriation for the Art school which was referred to the finance committee.

Reports and proceedings of committees on new buildings approved and contracts ratified.

The Secretary read reports of committees in charge of the construction of the Industrial College and Armory buildings:
