Regent Mallalieu offered a resolution relating to the fitting up of rooms in the basement of the main building, or the erection of a small building on the campus for the experimental station, which was received and referred to the finance committee.

Adjourned until 9 o'clock a.m. tomorrow.

The Board of Regents met at 9 o'clock a.m. pursuant to its adjournment on yesterday.

Present Regents L.Burnham,C.H.Gere ,J.M. Hiatt and E. P.Holmes and J.T.Mallalieu,

Absent Regent M. J.Hull.

Committee on general re pairs

to proceed.

Regent Hiatt moved that the report of the committee on repairs of the main building be approved and adopted ,which motion prevailed.

Same, to extent of $15.000.

Regent Burnham moved that the committee on general repairs be further authorized , in addition to the work contemplated in the contract with Mr. Chowins, to go forward with the fitting up and furnishing of the main building,to the extent of the $15.000.estimated heretofore by the Board for such purpose, which motion prevailed.

Committee on revision of the By-Laws.
Holmes, Burnham & Manatt.

Regent Mallalieu moved that a committee be appointed to examine into and prepare a revision of the By-Laws of the Board, to report at the next meeting, which motion prevailed.

The President appointed as such committee Regents Holmes and Burnham,and Chancellor Manatt.
