118June 15, 1887 Appointment of The University and Library committee reported recommending that E.W.Hunt be appointed Adjunct Professor of Rhetoric & Oratory ,R.F .Harper Instructor in Modern Languages & latin, DeWitt B. Brace Instructor in Physics, in accordance with the recommendation of the Faculty. On motion the report of the committee was received and adopted. Recess until 3 o'clock p.m. Lincoln,Neb . June 15th. 1887. The Board of Regents met at 3 o'clock p. m. pursuant to adjournment of the morning session. Present Regents L. Burnham, C. H. Gere and J.M. Hiatt. Absent Regents Holmes and Hull. The minutes of the last preceeding session were read and approved. Secretary's and Stewards reports and Wing's report approved. The finance committee reported as follows: The finance committee have examined the Secretary's and Stewards reports (semi-annual) ,and also his report of chemical Laboratory cash fund and that of Incidental fund ,and f ind the same correct. The committee have the report of H.H.Wing Superintendent of the College farm, and find it correct. On motion the report of the committee was received and adopted. The finance committee reported as follows upon the application of C. B.Fox for appointment as Superintendent of construction of the new buildings: | 118 |
