294Special Meeting The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska met on this day for a special meeting at 3:00 p.m. in the Administration Building on the city campus. Regents present: Regents absent: University officials present: Minutes Approved The minutes of the proceedings of the Board at its meeting held June 6, 1959, and June 10, 1959, were approved, copies of the same having been transmitted to the several members of the Board under its order of October 1, 1926. From the Chancellor's office come reports of resignations, leaves of absence, new appointments, adjustments in work and salary, summer session appointments, retirement and deceased persons. Money being available for those purposes from former apportionment by the Board, the following actions are taken. Resignations Approved It was moved by Regemt Welsh, seconded by Regent Elliott, motion put to vote and carried, that the following resignations be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office. RESIGNATIONS John Keating Weaver, part-time Instructor in Architecture, effective January 31, 1959. Nirmal Dutta, Research Assistant in Physiology, effective June 1, 1959. Patricia Herzog Olson, part-time Instructor in University High School, effective June 1, 1959. Kendrick A. Holleman, Assistant County Agricultural Extension Agent, effective June 30, 1959. Paul F. Sand, Assistant in Agronomy Aeronautical Investigations, effective June 30, 1959. Alice A. Sides, County Home Extension Agent, effective June 30, 1959. Raymond Arthaud, Research Associate in Animal Husbandry (USDA), effective July 1, 1959. Arthur O. Chapman, Assistant Professor of Anatomy, effective July 1, 1959.
