Authorize Atomic Energy Commission contract - research by Dr. Pearlstein, Physics

It was moved by Regent Foote, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the president be authorized and directed to execute Supplement No. 2 to Atomic Energy Commission Contract AT(11-1)-525 covering research by Professor E. A. Pearlstein of the Department of Physics. This supplement provides additional funds in the amount of $18,505 in support of Professor Pearlstein's research.

Approve promotion and tenure College of Medicine Faculty

It was moved by Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Elliott, motion put to vote and carried, that approval be given to the following recommendations for promotion and tenure.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROMOTION AND TENURE

Effective date: Annual appointees -- July 1, 1959
Academic year appointees -- September 1, 1959
