Leavitt, Professor and Chairman, Department of Mathematics and Astronomy, leave of absence with pay during first semester of 1959-60 and without pay second semester of 1959-60, to accept National Science Foundation fellowship for advanced study at Princeton University; funds from the University Research Council and the National Science Foundation. Harvey Hinshaw, Assistant Professor of Music, leave of absence with pay for academic year 1959-60; to accept a Woods Foundation Faculty Fellowship, account 2697-6W. Robert E. Knoll, Professor of Romance Language, leave of absence with pay for the academic year 1959-60; to accept a Woods Foundation Faculty Fellowship, account 2697-6W.
