My Dear Professor

Referring to your favor
5/25. Like you, I am
"[?] to death" with work, –
putting in about 18 hours in
24, – Sundays not excepted,
I am ashamed to say.

In compliance with [?],
will say, it is now my
intention to be in Lincoln,
in the afternoon June 1st, and
the following day until near
noon. If desirable, I will
meet the students interested
in Forestry, [?], for
the present, to make their
acquaintances. [For?], at this [sic.]
[minute?] [sic.] I have no thought what
I will say.
