Prof. Chas. E. Bessey -
Dear Sir:
Before receiving your letter I discovered my mistake on the Chaetophora fusiformis. It is a young form of Draparnaldia flumosa and I now have mounts of it at all stages from whaty I sent you to the mature plant. This is new work to me and I will probably make many mistakes but if you will be kind enough to correct them we may be able to make many additions.
I have several species of Oedogonium and Bulbochaele but wish to attempt the classification before sending them.
I find many diatoins but have, as yet, no books to classify them with.
Yours Truly,
H. Hapeman.
