My dear brother,

I want very much to hear
from you and learn how the world is
using you. I [would?] hardly say that I
am becoming quite anxious for your
welfare, and each day's silence makes
me feel more ill at ease. I have
no doubt that as far as energy and
ability will go, you will work out success,
but the matter of health and strength
may go otherwise. Let me know where
you are, and what you are hoping to
do.

Had a pleasant visit recently from
Amanda. She brough word that letters
sent to Denver would reach you. I thenupon
forwarded a letter, and a paper,
and sent a postal too. I trust that
they have been received see this.
