On my return
yesterday from Colorado [yours?] was here
sent some time ago stating that your Botany
for High Schools & Colleges would be sent me.

when it does it will give me great pleasure
to give it a careful and critical examination.
Its plan which I have seen [?]
pleases me very much & if my impressions
are conferred of which I have
no doubt I shall [introduce?] the work.
