I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of a col-
lection of specimens sent from the botanical Division of the Depart-
ment of agriculture for deposit in the herbarium of this University.

Permit me to thank you for the same and to assure you that the
specimens will be at once placed in the collection, where they will
be accessible for study and reference.
