152DE BAR'S OPERA HOUSE. Miss Lotta played Zip to a delighted audience | 152DE BAR'S OPERA HOUSE. Miss Lotta played Zip to a delighted audience last night, the last performance of a two weeks' engagement, as a successful as any the popular actress ever filled. Tomorrow night the Buffalo Bill combination appear in the border drama of The Red Right Hand, or the First Scalp for Custer, a play with a ocnsiderable amount of blood and thunder int it, and full of sensation and humor. It is founded upon the tragic incidents of the Custer massacre, and the engagement with "Yellow Hand's" band of Cheyennes, in which Buffalo Bill carried off the scalp of that savage chieftain. All these dreadful scenes are presented with great fidelity to the historic facts involved. Besides Buffal Bill, Captain Jack (J. W. Crawford), another noted frontiersman, will appear in an important role. The combination has recived strong praise wherever it has been. |
