The Scouts of the Prairie,
With Ned Buntline, Taxes Jack and Buffalo Bill in the leading characters, will doubtless be rendered in a highly sensational manner, this evening. Ned Buntline's last appearance here, in "knownothing" times, will be remembered. He was then "protected" by a Squad of "fierce" attendants, and marched about the city like a lord with retainers. Ned was playing a huge farce in those political times, and let us hope he will be as successful in mimic tragedy. It's worth the price of tickets to see him, Buffalo Bill, (otherwise known as Hon. W. F. Cody, of the Kansas Legislature.) and Texas Jack, (whose veritable cognomen is J. B. Omohundro and whose "fighting" proclivities led him into the rebel army at the early age of thirteen,) with Morlacchi, the peerless danseuse, as Hazel Eye, in the remarkable drama of which Ned Buntline is the author. Of course, the Temple will be jammed full of humanity, to-night.
