Instruction
Will be given partly by lectures and partly be reciations
No effort is sparel to make this instruction practical.

Chemistry
A full course, with laboratory work, enables the student to acquire a goal knowledge of general chemistry, as well as of chemistry as applied to medicine and pharmacy. It is not necessary, at this day to insist on the importance-- may[Dr?] on the absolute necessity of a knowledge of chemistry to the educated physician and pharmacist.

Botany and Physiology

Are taught in a course of lectures on each of these subjects abundantly illustrated ny drawings and by anatomical perparations.

Anatomy

Instruction is given by lectures and recitation. Students are frequently examined on the subject studied. A good collection of anatomical preparations is used for illustrating the lessons. A short course on teh operations of surgery follows in the spring.

Material Medica

There will be three lessons a week--students have ample opportunity to the examine the medicins for themselves and submit them to the necesasry test in the laboratory of chemistry. Regular monthly written examinations will be held in both anatomy and material medica.

Special advantages

The grapled system of instruction, stuents of one year in this school will be prepared to stand and a creditable examination on the first year's course of any of the medical colleges. This will admit them to the second year's course in the colleges on the same footing as their students.
The length of the term and the connection of the school with the college enables the students to pursue with profit any other studies in which he may be defucuent.
Arrangements will be made for elctures on practice of medicine, and surgery, obstetrics and special diseases which will be announced hereafter.

Ample opportunities for the instruction in the theoretical and practical pharamcy will be afforded to young men who visit to prepare themselves for business of driggists or pharmacutical chemists.
