-- The noted scout and actor Buffalo Bill will give one of his stirring plays in the town hall next Monday evening. As this is the last exhibition to be given before the town hall closes for repairs there will no doubt be a rush for tickets, especially as Buffalo Bill is one who draws large houses every time.

-- Buffalo Bill (Hon. W. F. Cody) and his company had a fair audience at the opera house last night. The play was "Prairie Waif," and it was presented in a creditable manner, with good scenery and accessories. It is the usual dime novel story. "Prairie Waif" is the heroine; Buffalo Bill is the hero; and the Mormons are the villains who abduct the girl. The sensational character of the play, with its fights and Indian dances drew liberal applause from the galleries. In the second act Mr. Cody gave an exhibition of fancy rifle shooting which showed skill and accuracy, and in the fourth act a band of Indians gave an exhibition of their songs and dances.
