Bill have each been praised. The men are remarkable for their small feet. It may be owling for their life in the middle. But Wild Bill, though standing six feet and two inches in height, has a very small foot. While Texas Jack will the solid weight of over 190 pounds, wears a number five boot, and Buffalo Bill has a thin, small foot, especially shown off by the beaded moccasins he wore on the the stage.
Their fund of anecdote as of contae inexhausible an scores of gentlemen have listened with pleasure to their stories here. Still not one of the party is in the least obtrusive with remarks regarding himself. The members of the theatrical company are extreme by entertaining in their tales. One of the best Mr. Burke told here was in regard to the Indiana who were with the company last season. The chief Indian, as the story goes, was a natural grumbler, and his propensities were always increased by his potations of "lire water" of which he was of course a lover. At such times he used to assault Mr. Burke with complaints regarding the play. saying "John - no good - Indian killed all time. Indian no kill - no good - why not me kill Buffalo Bill? The noble red man had discovered that this position in the piece was emphatically that of Lo the Poor Indian, and it was far from suiting him.
The Scouts do not at all pretend to be scores. They talk jokingly about their playing as starm, they must know that one great charm of their action is the child freedom from anh of the common ... of the stage. Wild Bill's first lines "Boys I'm with you heart and hand or Buffalo Bill ill save my friend Texas Jack or I'll die in the attempt are twice as effective as it there was any attempt to make them especially go. Buffalo Bill is wanted on the plains again, and will leave the company after playing the engaged meats in Springfield, Pittsburg and Albany. His wife who is not here, will go with him to North Platte, Nebraska. The little boy who attracted a tembo in the box with Mr. Cody Tuesday night and his lower left hand box last night, is mainly Kit Carmy Cody. after the great hunter and Indian fighter, and is expected to prove an honor to that name and his father's.
The play was well attended last evening, the redemption being about $500. some less than that the first evening. "The precious Martacchi" though was as plagging as ever. Mr. Pletcher's Dutch comedy was excellent again. Mr. Johnson was immensly comical as the Peace Commissioner, "Yes Verily" and Mr. Mordaunt's villian was finely done. Mr. Hollis, who played the for the first time Wednesday night, is planning the whole thing has been marked success bite and the company brave many friends, while the scouts themselves will be long remembered.
TEMPERANCE MAGIC - A temperature meet his wax head at Temperance Hall last evening of while Elder M. W. Lutz of Philidelphia, was the phenomenal ending. he was emphatically contempt.

Last night Granite Hall was well filled, not withstanding the intense cold, to witness the frontier drama, interpreted by genuine border men of note, namely Buffalo Bill, Texas Jack, and the historic scout of the Southwest, Wild Bill. Those who attended were highly delighted, in fact were agreeably surprised at the merit of the play, and the superb company that assisted. The scouts are splendid specimens of physical manhood, with handsome and intelligence features, and have adapted themselves in a creditable manner to their new vocation. The farce by the world renowned artiste Mill'e Morlacchi was in itself worth the admission, and with her acting, singing and dancing she completely captivated the house.

The great novel character, but who, unlike most characters of that kind, is a living man - the Great Scout "Buffalo Bill," (Hon. W. F. Cody,) and his excellent company, among the number the renowned "Texas Jack," will hold forth to-night at Granite Hall, in the exciting play of the "Scouts of the Plains," and other performances. The drama is said to abound in the thrilling scenes of border life and in the most thrilling situations. The members of the company are no doublt masters of the situation in producing the purely sensational drama. They have been greeted everywhere with crowded houses. In Music Hall, Portland, the other night, the seats were all filled and the aisles crowded.
