We have not yet filled the chair of botany in this college, and shall be willing to consider any applications of information as to work and special qualifications. There are several applicants of good repute, but we have not yet found one in every respect up to our desires in experience as a teacher and associations with experimental work. We prefer, other things equal, an older man, and shall look well around the circle of avaliable canidates.
