Sherman elected

Academic Dean.

Regent Hiatt moved that Professor L.A.Sherman be elected Dean of the Academic Faculty to take effect August 15th. '87,for the ensuing year , and that Professor Barber the present Dean be requested to continue his services until said 15th. day of August.

Ass't. to Geol. & Zool'g & Botany postponed.

Regent Burnham moved that the matter of the appointment of an assistant to the chairs of Geology and Zoology,and Botany be laid over until the next meeting of the Board,which motion prevailed.

On motion the Board then adjourned
