Yours of 29th at hand & noted. I shall be glad to have a map made as you suggest. As to room we cannot expect as large an exhibit as we had last year. I think in all probability we shall not be able to fill more than 4 tables. i shall write Mr Benton at once and shall be glad to have him prepare a paper. I may get up to Lincoln in a week or so will call and see you.

My Ever Dear Charles and all
Was glad to hear from you. But sorry to learn of the boys illness, but it is much better [?] have them when young and at home with a kind Mother to take care of them. Hope they will be well soon and take no cold[?], you will remember Charles when you had the measels, they have here very bad in [Pellington?] but [?] [hear?] yet, Calista and her family was well when last heard from, she is a good girl to write home after and Ames Io does pretty well too. are just as careless as they can be, I hear from him by [?], and from Ames Io I hear from Minnie, I had a short letter last evening from Willis, said they was boths well, but times was very dull there and not much to do to make money [at?], his letter was [?] the 8th of this month at [?]ville said it was warm as in June. Birds singing and insects buzzing and filled the air with [?]. Mother has not [been?] as well as usual the last [two weeks?] she [?] complain[?] of any pain, but her appetite is not failing some, but I think she will get better [as?] [?] she has [been?] more than usual [care?] the last two weels. Mrs Lyon and muselfs get pretty well tired
and sometimes, and it keep us very close at home that [cancer?] matter has is a bad looking thing, and I think is eating her life away slowly but she dont complain of it paining her, and never has [?] very little at times, no one knows what a [care?] it, is only us that are near all the time, but I must not complain, for it is all right, I wish to tell you Charles that neighbor [?] last summer but now living on [?] St. a Mr King and [formerly?] of Hillsdale Michigan, wishes me to have you remember him to Prof. Geo. McMillen. Ms King speaks very highly of the Prof and would like to hear from him, he has [?] health Mr King, I think

they are very fine people They have one son a Physician in Hillsdale Mich, and one [here?] in the Theological Sminary, dont forget it please Charles this has been quite a pleasant day sun shine bright annd clar, but it was [?] and cold, but [?] such [roads?] as we [been?] now, before it [?] it was [?] but deep and now so rough, I wish to be remember by all, Mother rested quite well last night, is quite stupid all day, couldnt get her to eate any dinner.
