I spent Sunday with Miriam at the College [?] leave this many.
Of course we had a nice time. But I was glad to see my little [?] Called at the Presidents yesterday and found him sitting in his study - He had taken a short walk out of doors that morning so far see he is recovering rapidly. Your letter to Mother is before me and in reply I will say that we have not invested $1000 of Mother money. It is very different to loan money here for more than 0-%, and a few have loaned large sums at long time of 4 3/4 %.
It will be a great advantage to Mother if you can dispose of it for her. It is in the [Gollage?] Treasury and can be had at any time. She can let you have $1000 on short notice.

I have been visiting him for the past ten days and have had a very fine time.
Oalista and family are in excellent health. She has a very fine and smart baby.
This is a very fine reason for sugar making and you may be sure 2 have enjoyed it.
