Curtis, June 22 1891.

Dear Sir.
We came to Minden Friday night, June 12, met Dr. Hapeman, who took us out on Saturday. Mr. Flodman was poisoned by Poison Ivy. Last Monday he was blind on one eye, but is nearly well now. On Monday Dr. Hape man and Mr. [Palmer] took us out to Platte River. We got wet in a shower of r ain. On Tuesday we went to Axtell. Raining - to wet for botanizing. Wednes day, raining the whole day. Thurday afternoon I took a ride to the Sand hills and Platte. Came back late in the night (continued on next [page])
