it. I have some peculiarities
of my own in teaching. I tried
Gray's Botanical text book last
year. It was not suited to my
wants. I used Wood's once.
I now use Gray's lessons and add
notes & lectures. I am just to begin
a class. I should be glad of one of
your advanced copies and will
give you notes on my use of the
book or what I like.

I want to see what Prof. Goodall
gets up & Dr. Farlow. We have
got to work more in the line of
Sachs and those like him, and
less in the old school. We cannot
constantly keep in [mind?] the [training?]
of investigators or experimentors.
