I have collected 10,000 [duffieotes]? this season, and am now putting up 50 sets of 100 species [?] exchange for a collection of minerals.

This state is rich in plants. For a [?], we have 35 species of ferns. While you have only a few species in Iowa.

The Orders [Comfrontae]?, [Gomineae]? Lobiatae [Serophuloriaeeae]? [Avaceae]? [?] are represented by many species. We are so [?] as to hone in The State The Province [Flora]? in the S. W. Gulf [Flora]? in the S. Texas
