This evening, "Buffalo Bill" opens his engagements of two nights at the Opera House in his new play The "Scouts of the Plains ; or Red Deviltry as it is." Recently the company appeared at Utica, and the Herald says of it : "A large audience was present at the Opera House last evening to witness the presentation of the "Scouts of the Plains," by Buffalo Bill and histroupe. Mr. Cody, with his first appearance in this city, won the good opinion of the public, as the large attendance last evening demonstrated Mr. Thomas Graham took the role of the Irish man admirable, while "Kit Carson, Jr., did no less successfully.
