My dear sir:
I am in receipt of your very kinda invitation to deliver the oration at your commencement June 11th. I am so overwhelmed with business and my time for excersions in other fields is so mortgaged between now and July that it is impossible for me to assure any new engagement. It would be an unusual pleasure for me if I could secure the time to speak at the university of nebraska.
