am disappointed, and everbody
else seems to be in like frame
of mind. Still I may say for
myself that I do not know
the young man at all, and
am therefore not qualified to
speak. May venture to say,
however, that it is very dangerous
experiment to put on a
college like this, that we thought
was a great college, a young
man 28 yrs old, and not
a college man at all, having
neither a classical nor
scientific education as I
am told. The paper announces
that he is a graduate of
one of the [?] universities,
but that is not true and
ought not to have been said.
I am waiting an opportunity to
became acquainted with the
