Prof Chas. E. Bessey,
Lincoln, Neb.
Dear Sir:

Your valued favor of the
9th is at hand. In ours of the 21st. ult. we
intended to say Botany, but somehow said
Physiology. Judging from the [tenor?] of your last
that you will enter into an arrangement which
seems to you to be right and proper we send
herewith duplicate contracts, (such as we are
making) for a Botany. If satisfactory please
sign and return one to us, retaining the other.

Very Truly,
Miller Girton & Watters
