| 165BUFFALO BILL
The "Prairie Wolf" is the now play to
be given by Buffalo Bill Wednesday
night. The play is a new one for this
season, and has some very pretty scenes.
There is less blood-letting, fewer scalps
taken and not so many Indian forays as
have occurred in pieces of the sort
presented before. He has a very good support
in Miss Fletcher as "Onita," Mr.
Keene as "Hank," and Mr. Charles as,
"Captain Russell." Cody himself is the
most cool, natural and handsome fellow
we have become so well acquainted with,
and his play is clean and pretty.
HAVERLY'S COLORED MINERALS
A Cleveland exchange says of this company:
The house was packed from rat to dome
some time before the curtain rose, and
"standing room only" greeted many people
who supposed they were early.
To say that the Haverly minstrels gives a
better entertainment than they did last
season is saying a good deal, but it is
only telling a true story. From the
meet the our ain rose for the grand overture
until it went down for the last time
at the conclusion of the "Holiday on the
Plantation" and ["Eceenue Cream." it
was a continuous carnival of fun and
good minstemy, generally. The songs
by Tom McIntosh, Brown, James
Grace, George, James Bland, Billy
and were all good.
and the "Parade of the Coonville Guards"
kept the large audience in a roar of
laughter. | 165BUFFALO BILL
