Brotherhood of Big Heads.

Henry Watterson, who says Cleveland will be renominated and re-elected, is one of the founders of the Brotherhood.

Postmaster Hurrity expectes to get away with the shriff's office next fall and pay up dues on the Brotherhood regularly.

Brouthers, the baseballist, joined the Brotherhood whou he got with the Detroit Club, and has been in splendid standing over since.

Governor Hill is a promising candidate for membership. If he decideds to run for president he will join the Brotherhood at the same time.

Dr. McGlynn became a member a few months ago, but the New York Graphic says he will flourish yet a little while and the pass out of sight to return no more.

The Brotherhood expected Buffalo Bill to join when he went to London, but Bill says he "hasn't got the big hand worth a cont if he had been dined by the prince of Wales."

King Kalakaua was a member until he got drunk and was disgraces and dethroned and dismissed by the Brotherhood, his head having been greated reduced in size by his wrathful people.

The Brotherhood of Big Heads has recently admitted a good many now and distinguished members. The latest member is Prince Ferdinand, who is about to take the Bulgarian throne.

Henry George was elected to the Bortherhood at the last election in New your by 08,000 votes. If his head continues to swell at the same rate, he expects to be preseident even earlier than the next presidential election.

The Pittsburg Chronicle-Telegraph has pronounced William Dean Howells for membership, saying: "Howells says he does not red his own stories after they appeart in print. We shall have to give Howells credit for rare discriminaiton."

And the Boston Home Hournal seconds the motion with the remark: "If Mr. Howells is so sure that he knows what a novel is, why doesn't he write on himeself?" -Philadelphia North American.

THE London Society brings the charge against Buffalo Bill of eating peas with his knife. This is referred to Secretary BAY-ARD and at the same time Mr. WHITNEY is advised to hustle up our new navy. We can't stand everything.

BUFFALO BILL is soon to move his Wild West show to Paris. Some are prophesying that "the best blood of Paris" will not take our Bill. We shall see.
