121Buffalo Bill's Performance. Hon. W. F. Cody, better known as Buffalo Bill, was greeted last evening by an audience far above the average in numbers. The play is the best he has ever brought to this city. While it is exciting enough for even the most [words?] it [word?] is none of the trashy Indian, fights and whom the murders which generally characterize plays of plot were redeembed by the vagarks of an Irishman, bug doctor, and negro, who were very funny. The Indian cand amused the young people, and the antice of a trained donkey drew roars of laughter from young and old alike. Buffalo Bill's first appearance was greeted with a storm of applause. He gave some remarkable fests of markmanship during the course of the play, the most notable of which was knocking the ashes from a lighted cigar in a man's muth. Every move of the famous scout and Indian fighter called forth the noisy admiraiton of the crowded gallery.
