GRAND OPERA HOUSE.
Maj. Burt's border drama, May Cody, or
Lost and Won, has proved a success, and
will be repeated this afternoon and to-night.
The most wonderful part of the play is the rifle
shooting of Buffalo Bill. He shoots with accuracy
standing, sitting, lying and stooping,
backward and forward, taking aim from a
looking-glass, knocking an apple from the
head of a young lady, and brushing the ashes
from a cigar in the mouth of a man. The
Mountain Meadow Massacre forms the most
thrilling scene in the piece, and the tricks of
the trained donkey are very laughable. On
Monday the great Fatinitza Comic Opera Company,
from the Fifth Avenue Theater, will commence
a week's engagement. The finest
troupe on the stage.
