GRAND OPERA HOUSE.

The new border drama, May Cody, or Lost
and Won, drew a good house last night. It
bears some resemblance to the Danites, but
has decided merit of its own. The war-dance
of the Pawnees is a correct representation of
the real dance of that tribe, and is one of the
best things in the play. The thrilling scene of
the Mountain Meadow massacre is enacted with
striking effect. Buffalo Bill appears in his own
proper character and under his own name,
and performs some wonderful feats of marksmanship
with his rifle. The Irishman and his
donkey form an amusing feature of the manageric,
and the star who takes the part of the
grizzly bear makes an excellent bruin. The
piece is "red-hot" with bloody incidents, and
is unequaled as a Rocky Mountain realistic
drama. It will be repeated to-night and Saturday
afternoon.
