Buffalo Bill's Welcome Home.

(Davenport Gasette, January 18)

Hon. Wm. F. Cody's old home, or rather the city which has spread over and away beyong the limits of the village which he left thirty odd years ago, gave him an enthusiastic greeting last night, at his appearance at the Opera house in his new role. The Burtin Opera house is the largest in the state, and every seat and available space of standing room was occupied.

The Gazette then goes on to speak in the most enthusiastic terms of Buffalo Bill's Combination, and the beatiful drama of "May Cody," which is to be rendered in our Opera house to-morrow evening.
