AMUSEMENTS. ---
Hark! Hark! The dogs do bark,
The Indians are in town ---
Buffalo BIll and Texas Jack,
William and the Wild, the peerless Morlacchi,
as the maiden brown.
The above shows what we can do when we
try, but to rise to the level of sensible prose,
we will remind our readers that to-night, at
the Opera House, the great original band of
Scouts and Indians will make their first
appearance in Easton. Buffalo Bill, Texas
Jack and Wild Bill are well-known names to
all who have taken any interest in life on the
Western borders of civilization, and a sight o
f these renowned scouts and Indian-fighters
will well repay any one for a visit to the
Opera House. Mdlle. Moriacchi has long
ranked high among the leading dancers of the
country, and as the Indian maiden, taught to
dance while in captivity among the Mexicans,
will give proofs of her skill. A band of
genuine red men of the forest will take part
in the drama of Western Life, and all who
would see how they work and play, live and
die in the Western wilds, should be present
this evening at the Opera House.
