If you can give the book as favorable a notice as you did my Fresh Water Algae you shall have the Vol. as remuneration. I have heard from many. H. L. Smith perhaps the Highest authority on Diatoms writes in a letter received yesterday you "deserve much praise" "you have really done wonders" in getting up the volume. I do not mean an article from you [ ] be as long as on Fr Algae but must contain a good word.
