I have examined my
data for the Iowa flora
and find that [?]
is one of the
species [wanted?] upon by
[J. S. Haupt?]; and that I have
never seen specimens of
it I will at once write
him and see if he can
prove it to be in Iowa.
It seems strange that
Dr. Parry should never have
reported this correction (if
it be so) to the [?] Am. Sci, as
he did others in [Mr. Haupt?]'s
published list.

The Geschichte Botanik is
rec'd. I find it extremely interesting.
