TO-NIGHT--Buffalo Bill, in the Prairie
Waif, at Comstock's Opera House.

Buffalo Bill- A week of solid amusement
opens at Comstock's Opera Hoose this
evening with the appearance of the Buffalo
Bill combination. The company includes
a genuine band of Sioux Indians, with
noted braves and chiefs, who have prominent
parts in the production of the new
drama, The Prairie Waif, written expressly
for Mr. Cody by John A. Stevens. Among
other features of the play will be fancy
rifle shooting by Buffalo Bill, who has few
equals in that line. The following is the
cast of characters for the production of the
drama: Buffalo Bill, Hon. William F.
Cody (representing three distinct Western
characters): Onita, Miss Jennie Gilbert;
Sadie, Miss Nellie Lingard; Mark Stanley,
Robert Neil; Danites- Jim Harty, T. J.
Quinn; Jack Hardy, Harry Melmer; Hans,
Jule Keen; Captain Russell, Wilson
Charles; General Brown, Will McVey; E.
Overton, a Sutler, R.D. Dorsey; Lieutenant
Saunders, Harry Irving; Lieutenant
White, George Hancock; Jack Cass, by
Jerry; Winnebago Indians: Lone Deer,
Yellow Hand, Flying Cloud, Red Deer;
Spotted Horse (Pawnee Chief); Boy Chief
of the Pawnees, Harry E. Burgess; Soldiers,
Danites, Indians, etc.
